History

Since 1994 BIGCITYVELO has been a development cycling squad. The sole purpose is to provide the athlete a place to develop the skills necessary to succeed at cycling's highest level.This is achieved through coaching, psychological development, as well as providing all the equipment necessary to train and compete.

 The end result is to guide the cyclist to his or her goals and to prepare them for their best performance.

 2007 will be the first year that a name and logo other than BIGCITYVELO will be on the uniform. LEADERBIKE USA will become a partner and the squad will be named, LEADERBIKE/BIGCITY.

2008 brought another great partner to join with LEADERBIKE. CANARI CYCLEWEAR. CANARI has been a long time fixture in cycling and a maker/designer of quality cycling clothing. The squad is now, LEADERBIKE/CANARI.

The creation of the BIGCITYCYCLINGFOUNDATION. The foundation will allow LEADERBIKE/CANARI to bring more cyclist on to it's squad. The most important part of the foundation is that through GRANTS and SCHOLARSHIPS we will also work to meet the needs of other cyclist.
